Why I love Zumba®
I believe that fitness should be a part of our lives. Zumba® is a fun and motivating way to make that happen. After having 4 children I found it difficult to get moving and get back into shape. Not only did Zumba® get me moving again, but I was able to lose 30 lbs. I am now in the best shape of my life! Now, as an instructor, I am constantly being told by my participants about how they have lost weight, gotten into shape and have renewed self confidence.
There are a lot of great fitness activities out there, but I have never enjoyed any as much as Zumba®. That is why I have chosen to make a career out of my passion. I have focused my training specifically on Zumba® Fitness, in order to give my participants the best hour of fitness and fun possible. In fact, I enjoy Zumba® so much that I'm often seen around town in my Zumba® gear. |
Qualifications
I
am a proud member of the Zumba Instructor Network and I am trained and
licensed to teach both Zumba® B1 and Zumba® B2. In addition, I am also
the 1st licensed ZumbAtomic® Instructor in the Jacksonville NC area
(Zumba® fitness created for ages 12 and under). I am First Aid, CPR
& AED certified as well as ASFA certified in Group Fitness.
In August 2010 I underwent more training and am now licensed to teach Zumba® Toning, Zumba® Gold Zumba® and Aqua Zumba®. Then in 2011 I also completed training for the awesome ZIC (Zumbain the Circuit). In 2014 I also became licensed to teach Zumba Step and Zumba with BURST! I am excited to continue my Zumba® Fitness training and always strive to deliver the highest quality classes to my participants. |

The Zumba® Fitness Party is Here And Open to the Public! Join Nikki and Mika every 2nd and 4th Friday night of each month at Northwoods Rec Center for this Fun Filled, Jammin', tag team work out Party! Classes return Friday July 13th. It's time to 'Party Yourself Into Shape!' 6:45pm sign in. Class from 7:00-8:10pm ZUMBA $6 Child Care $2 per child ($1 each additional child per family) |
